🎧 Nightclubs in Bangkok, sorted by music genre (2026)

For us, there’s no single answer that works for everyone—but the most common question tourists ask us is: “Where is the best nightclub in Bangkok?”

For us, there really isn’t one “best” club. The best club for people who love hip-hop may not be the best for people who love techno

Another important thing to understand about Bangkok nightlife is:

Music can change depending on the day, room, and the DJ lineup—so before choosing a club, start with a better question: what do you really want to hear tonight?

Route66 is one of our earliest recommendations for hip-hop lovers. The standout feature is how it’s laid out with multiple rooms, which really helps—especially when you go out with friends who don’t all like the same kind of music.

Even on some weekdays, it can still pull in a strong hip-hop crowd. Fridays and Saturdays, though, are usually much busier across the whole venue.

Rhodes delivers a very different hip-hop experience. As a larger club, it feels more stylish and premium for hip-hop fans, and the crowd size is fairly limited.

That smaller size can also mean that once you’re there, it might be crowded—and there may be less room available too.

These recommendations come from our own firsthand experience.

After Nightlife.run’s guests take Raw Bar to various spots, Rhodes often stands out as one of the destinations our guests like most—and it’s frequently a favorite for the whole night.

If you want hip-hop without running into a mega-club vibe, put Rhodes high on your list.

For tourists staying around Sukhumvit and looking for hip-hop without having to go all the way to RCA, Sugar is another interesting option.

We don’t think of Revo as a pure hip-hop club.

The music is more mixed—but based on our experience, hip-hop and Latin are key parts of the party.

It’s especially great if you want to dance more than spend the whole night stuck at a table.

If you want big production—lights, a powerful sound system, and high-energy EDM—consider:

• Spaceplus
• VOID
• Elysium
• Muin
• Route66

That said, events and guest DJs can change the music quite a bit—so check tonight’s lineup every time before you go out.

Important update:

Baccarat should no longer be classified mainly as a hip-hop club. Previously, there was a hip-hop program on Tuesdays, but that’s no longer the case.

Based on our most recent experience, and the DJ lineup we’ve checked, the current direction is leaning toward house, tech house, techno, and electronic music.

This is a good reminder that Bangkok nightlife changes fast, and an old guide may not reflect what you’ll really hear tonight.

Sing Sing is another solid option for house and techno, but there’s one important caveat:

• Check the day.
• On Thursdays, Ladies Night leans hip-hop.
• On other nights, it generally shifts toward house/techno depending on the event and the DJ lineup.

If you like house / underground tracks and want to focus more on the dance floor, Clutch is another place worth considering.

Mustache has long been paired with Bangkok’s house and techno scene.

However, based on our latest local information, this venue is temporarily closed and is expected to reopen around September 2026.

Situations like this can change, so check the latest status before you go.

If someone tells us:

Havana Social is our clearest recommendation.

And there’s another important difference here, too.

We don’t recommend Havana Social as a speakeasy-style club primarily today.

After being open for more than ten years, the hidden entrance after-hours and the phone mechanism were a fresh concept for Bangkok. There was once a time when guests had to press the “correct number” to enter the venue.

Nowadays, Havana is well known, and that entry process is no longer part of the experience.

In our view, the modern experience feels closer to a Latin party / club than to a traditional, classic speakeasy.

Hip-hop + Latin + mixed-party music

One of the easiest options for groups with different music tastes—it has multiple rooms and multiple zones.

According to its history, Chupa has had a variety of music—from hip-hop to EDM.

But most recently, the venue reopened after renovations.

The Nightlife.run team hasn’t visited again after the renovation, so we won’t assume the current music direction is the same as it was before.

We’ll update this guide once we’ve personally checked out the new version.

This might be the most important reminder in this whole guide:

The same club doesn’t mean you’ll hear the same music every night.

Before you go, check these 3 things:

• Day — What’s happening tonight?
• Room — Does the club have multiple rooms?
• DJ lineup — What are the DJs tonight actually playing?

Sing Sing is a great example.

People who come on Thursdays might describe it as a hip-hop club.

People who come on other nights might describe it as house / techno.

Both sides could be right.

They’re just going on different nights.
